Anna Eva Kotyza is a filmmaker and producer working at the intersection of art, technology, and storytelling. Her work moves between animation, documentary, live action, and emerging forms of visual media, with a particular interest in stories that cross cultural and creative boundaries.

 

Raised between American and Czech cultures in New York, she is especially interested in bringing Slavic stories, music, and history into contemporary film and connecting them with audiences beyond their traditional borders.

Currently working in animation and production at DreamWorks Animation, she also serves as a Co-Lead of DreamWorks Animation’s Women’s Inclusion Network, where she helps build community and creative connections across the industry.

Outside of filmmaking, Anna paints, plays piano, runs, bakes, swing dances, travels solo, and occasionally attempts to borrow affection from friends’ and family’s cats.
